Gedge Brasses, St Margaret's church, Margaretting
James (or Robert?) Gedge (head missing) shown in Armour with his wife ?Mary and children of "Shenfield" (now Killingrews) a nearby moated house. His wife's face is in profile, which is unusual. The brasses have been transferred from elsewhere and mounted on the north wall of the sanctuary. (Mid 16th Century)
