Bangor Bus and Rail Centre
Bangor Bus and Rail Centre
Combined bus and train station or, to use Translink speak, "Northern Ireland’s first purpose-built integrated bus and rail interchange". This is a view of the main entrance.
Opened in 2001, it replaced a fine station of 1865/1890 by the celebrated architectural team of Lanyon Lynn & Lanyon which had been hideously changed by two very uninspiring 20th Century alterations. This new structure is actually very pleasant to use. See related pictures at Link .
