SE0397 : Remains of a Dam, Harkerside Moor

taken 17 years ago, near to Grinton, North Yorkshire, England

Remains of a Dam, Harkerside Moor
Remains of a Dam, Harkerside Moor
No doubt connected to the lead mining industry. There are disused shafts mapped ten metres lower on Harker Mires and in Grovebeck Gill. In the distance is the spoil tip of Grovebeck Mine.
