The Gaumont in Worcester used to be a popular concert venue from the 1950s through to the 1970s. Many of the greats played here including Buddy Holly, Cliff Richard, the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie and famously Queen supported Mott the Hoople here. For many years it has been a bingo hall but is now closed.
