Gordale Scar
Gordale Scar
In Gordale Scar, the walls are 165 feet high and separated by 50 feet at the top.
The path goes right into the collapsed cavern where in wet weather there are a series of waterfalls but at other times it is possible to climb to the top. This was not one of those occasions when it would be sensible to climb up.
