taken 3 years ago, near to West Aberthaw, The Vale of Glamorgan/Bro Morgannwg, Wales

River Thaw at Aberthaw Power Station
River Thaw at Aberthaw Power Station
This is the 'canalised' River Thaw as it makes its way through the now abandoned Aberthaw Power Station with the Ash Plant on the right. Its original course is now buried under the Ash Tip that developed during the course of the station's sixty years of operation.
