The Queen's Inner Hall within the Royal Palace at Stirling Castle is sumptuously furnished and decorated with recently woven tapestries depicting the Hunt of the Unicorn.
Stirling Castle :: NS7994

Stirling Castle is a vast sprawling set of buildings perched on a cliff known as Castle Hill in the city of Stirling. It has been an important strategic fortification for many centuries, guarding the most downstream crossing of the River Forth (until the construction of Forth Railway Bridge in 1889/90)
The oldest parts of the castle date back to the C14th, but the majority of the currently extant buildings were constructed in the C15th & 16th, with the outer defences on the town side being an C18th addition.
There are several sections of wall-walk which allow excellent views in most directions.
There are numerous different parts to the castle, chief among these are:
King James V Palace
The Great Hall
The Chapel Royal
The King's Old Building
The Gatehouse
It is administered by Historic Scotland and open to the public: LinkExternal link

The castle is not surprisingly a Designated Ancient Monument - see the Historic Scotland listing for much more information on the castle: LinkExternal link

The Canmore website has many pages dedicated to various parts of the castle and palace.
