ST5772 : Basking on Brandon Hill

taken 3 years ago, near to Clifton, Bristol, England

Basking on Brandon Hill
Basking on Brandon Hill
The hill is a strangely prominent high-point in Bristol, with a long history. It was a place for drying laundry in public, fortified during the Civil War and currently has Cabot Tower (built 1890s) with the well-kept gardens to wander in. Boasting a wide view over south Bristol it is understandibly a popluar viewing spot.
