Not all the sculptures at 'Sculpture by the lakes' are reflected in the waters of the lakes - these two colourful birds were on terra firma.
Sculpture by the Lakes
Sculpture by the Lakes is (as the name obviously suggests) a series of interesting sculptures set in and around a number of lakes near the village of Pallington. It is described by its creators, renowned sculptor Simon Gudgeon and his wife, Monique, as "an oasis for art lovers and collectors nestled in 26 acres of Dorset’s glorious countryside."
It is certainly an attractive site well worth a visit with some fine statues which enhance the natural beauty of the lakeland setting.
