The Cumbria Way follows the public footpath from Hawse End to Derwent Bank. At this junction of paths in Overside Wood northbound walkers following The Cumbria Way turn right to follow the path towards Lingholm (next photograph NY2522 : The Cumbria Way near Silver Hill).
