Pyllau plwm y Mwynglawdd / Minera lead mines [5]
The track beside the Meadow Shaft engine house is the route of one of the many tramways that once served the mine. Lead mining in Minera was at its peak in the late 1700s after engineers solved the problematic flooding in the mine shafts. The mines closed in 1914, because of falling global prices for lead. The site is now a country park.
