The approach to Lingy Hut
Formerly belonging to Carrock Mine, Lingy Hut hut was relocated to this isolated, exposed location 580m (1900 ft.) above sea level on the upper slopes of Great Lingy Hill to be used as a shooting hut. It is now maintained by the Lake District National Park Authority for use as a mountain bothy and shelter.
