This early jet fighter made the first ever jet aircraft landing on an aircraft carrier on HMS Ocean on 3/12/1945. The pilot was Eric (Winkle Brown) who flew more different types of aircraft than any other pilot (487).
The Sea Vampire first flew in September 1943 and was the RN's first jet aircraft.
