taken 3 months ago, near to Berkeley, Gloucestershire, England

Former Toll House, Berkeley
Former Toll House, Berkeley
Between Berkeley and the A38 at Mobley on the B4066, the style of crenelation was seen in other (lost) local Toll Houses
but this may have been inspired by Berkeley Castle. It served the Berkley & Dursley (Division) Turnpike Trust in the 19ᵗʰ C.
