NY9839 : Gardens in front of Stanhope Hall

taken 11 months ago, near to Crawleyside, County Durham, England

Gardens in front of Stanhope Hall
Gardens in front of Stanhope Hall
The hall dates from the 16th 17th centuries with later additions. No doubt the gardens here were properly terraced and planted in former times. The Hall has been divided into several separate residencies recently.
