Wind turbine at the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm
Completed in 2018, the wind farm comprises 116 turbines on a 70 square kilometre site located between 13 and 25 kilometres off the Sussex coast in the English Channel. It is now generating enough green electricity to power around 350,000 homes. Each turbine is 140 metres (459.3 ft) high to the tip of the blade.
