Geograph - photograph every grid square

The approach to St Peter's Blackland is unusual - a small straight drive leads off the A4 and a gate automatically swings open to allow vehicles past. At the end of the drive is this area for car parking, and the church itself is reached along a narrow path leading off it, with dense hedging separating this from Blackland Park and its grounds. It feels like a private chapel, but the church is 'stranded' in an isolated location because the village around it has disappeared Link (Archive Link ) . The A4 can just be glimpsed here as it approaches Calne, crossing the far end of the drive.
