Birds on the pond at Rainton

This is the main pond at Rainton Meadows Nature reserve. A good selection of Gulls here, with Blackheaded and Herring Gulls and what seems to be a single Lesser Black Backed Gull in the centre. Rather unusual in winter; they are mainly summer visitors. Widgeon on the water behind.
