Old well, Rattery

Presumably the well which gave its name to Penswell, the adjacent listed building Link , this is at Penswell Cross, the junction towards the northern end of the village. "This was a pump and then water tap at Penswell Cross - so presumably it was Penswell. The pump was shown on the 1st edition OS map but disappears from OS maps after 1955" Link
