Hafren Forest
The Hafren Forest takes its name from the Afon Hafren, which is Welsh for the River Severn. The forest was planted in 1937, and some Bronze Age copper and lead mines can be found in the forest. This photo was taken on a walk from Hafren Forest car park, which heads northwest to the source of the River Severn via the Severn Way.
