One of the frogs on the 2023 Great Frogtastic Invention Trail in Stockport.

Located outside Stockport Station, Frogwarts was sponsored by Community Rail Partnership and designed by artist Sharkmanart.

"Stopping off on Platform 9 &3/4 is Frogwarts. Originally invented by Thomas Newcomen, James Watt is credited with improving the steam engine in the late 18th century making it more efficient, faster and more reliable."

Following the success of Stockport’s Giant Leap Frog Art Trail in 2019 Link and Stockport’s Gigantic Leap Frog Art Trail in 2021 Link the Stockport Frogs were back for 2023

19 frogtastic invention frogs are hopping onto their giant cogs located throughout the town centre, creating an educational, engaging and vibrant, outdoor art trail attracting thousands of people from across the region. People from all ages and backgrounds, from businesses, schools and community groups will once again be attracted to discover the trail and explore the town centre to seek out all the fantastic frogs.

Sponsored by local businesses and organisations, and painted by local artists, each frog represents a fantastic invention.
