Beccles Town Hall and Clock Tower
The town hall is 18th century with alterations in the form of an Elongated octagon built of Red brick with Pantiles on the roof. Windows are pointed paned casements in square openings, and Tudor style entrance with drip mould. it contains the historical records relating to Beccles in the Mayor's Parlour.
The Clock and bell tower and built in 1515 and took 40 years to build. It stands 97ft tall above the streets. It was sold for one (old) penny in 1972 by the church who didn't want to pay for its upkeep, and is no longer anything to do with St. Michael's. It is now managed by Waveney District Council and the Beccles Business Association.
