Ironwork in Great Malvern Station
Ironwork in Great Malvern Station
Restored and repainted Victorian ironwork in Great Malvern Station. The cast iron pillars are adorned at the capital with sculpted foliage by local sculptor William Forsyth. In the Pevsner's guide he writes 'The Builder, 1863, noted how he (Forsyth) had cleverly introduced the foliage of the plants of the neighbourhood'.
