The golf course, not far from Ramsey in Cambridgeshire, first opened in 1992 and is now a well established and mature 9 hole parkland course. The first 9 holes and second 9 holes use different teeing areas adding variety and interest to the course. The River Nene (old course) flows through the course with 5 holes on one side of the river and 4 on the other. Several holes require a decent drive over dikes, drains and the river.
