Field gateway on south side of Brackenley Lane
Ordnance Survey documents indicate that a benchmark levelled at 163.449m above Newlyn Datum was verified in 1956 on a gatepost at this gateway. I assume the mark was cut on a stone gatepost: the gateposts now present are a wooden one and a concrete one.
