River Severn
River Severn from Severn View Services. The white building in the background is Oldbury Nuclear Power Station near Oldbury Naite. It opened in 1967, and the last reactor (Reactor 1) ceased operations on 29 February 2012. Removal of most buildings is expected for 2027. A care and maintenance period will follow until 2095. Demolition of the reactor buildings will be in 2096-2101.
