Shiant Isles
Shiant Isles
Photo is taken from Eilean Mhuire (Mary's Isle) This was the most fertile of the three Shiant (pronounced shant) Isles.
Eilean Mhuire is one of the few places in the Western Isles where you find fossils in the mud stones on the landing beach.
