The 168-room, 4-star hotel on the north bank of the River Clyde was built in 1994 to accommodate the relatives of the wealthy private patients at the adjoining hospital; It was taken over by the NHS in 2002. It was known as the Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre until 10th January 2015 when it was renamed as “The Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel” recognising that it is an integral part of the Golden Jubilee Foundation which encompasses the Golden Jubilee National Hospital, the Golden Jubilee Research Institute, the Golden Jubilee Innovation Centre and the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel.
