Two ways under the railway - Sandwell Valley, West Midlands
Two ways under the railway - Sandwell Valley, West Midlands
This railway bridge is designed for four-way traffic - two-way on the rails and two-way passing underneath. Also underneath flows the River Tame on its way through the Sandwell Valley. The railway line is the one which runs from Birmingham New Street to Walsall which in railway terms is a cul-de-sac. Here it crosses the Sandwell Valley to the north of Forge Mill Farm. The Valley houses Forge Mill Lake (no sailing) and the Nature Centre. Time taken 1.33 pm GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
