Tatlingbury Oast
This six round kiln oast house was used for hop picking until the early 1990's, and converted in 2003. The kilns have brick built roofs, and the cowls depict a hunting scene with a horse and hounds.
Grade II listed.

The cowl was fitted to the top of the kiln roof of an oast house. It pivoted with the wind to allow the hot air from the fired kiln below to be drawn through the hops and out through the top. Read more about cowls Link
