"Cows about Cambridge" was an art trail on display from 28 June to 4 September 2021 (postponed from 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic). 41 "large cows" were spread around the streets and shopping centres, with 3 community project "Heard by the Herd", and 45 smaller school-designed "mini moos" in shop windows and museums. The trail was devised by Wild in Art in association with Cambridge BID (Business Improvement District).
After the cows were removed, the mini moos returned to the schools which designed them, and the large cows were auctioned, raising a total of £257,100 for children's charity Break.
A complete trail of the 41 "large cows" can be followed starting at TL4657 : Cows about Cambridge 1: Around The City
