The trees in the right two thirds of the image border a stretch of the lane which runs from Merthyr Mawr to the A48 via Tyla Farm. The remainder of the trees are the westernmost of a line beside the public footpath which runs across much of the southern half of the grid square. Most of the trees in view fall within an area of Restored Ancient Woodland.
