Former BHS store, Hull
A view of the former British Home Stores shop in the centre of Hull. It was built in 1963. At the time this image was taken, in June 2021, the building was due to be demolished to make way for a new development named Albion Square.
The prominent mural of three ships had been in danger of being lost, due to the amount of asbestos likely to be present in the building meaning the mural could not be preserved safely. However, it was reported in April 2021 that the mural, which was Grade II listed, could be saved: Link
