The track runs through the woods below Brundholme Road. It is a permitted footpath at this point and was upgraded to facilitate access for repairs to the Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Trail following storm damage in 2015.
Blease Fell, the western shoulder of Blencathra is in the background.
