The Cumbria Way, Old Hall Farm
The north end of the farm yard at Old Hall Farm.
The Cumbria Way follows a public footpath between the buildings and passes in front of the farm house in the background (next photograph SD2879 : The Cumbria Way, Old Hall Farm).
The large pipe on the ground was being used to carry farm slurry pumped from a nearby storage tank. It was being spread as fertiliser on land nearby.
The Cumbria Way

A 119km (74 mile) long distance path from Ulverston to Carlisle, through the heart of the English Lake District.
