taken 4 years ago, near to Welling, Bexley, England

Crocuses on Shoulder of Mutton Green
Crocuses on Shoulder of Mutton Green
Shoulder of Mutton Green, which is actually a very old feature where cattle may have rested while travelling along Watling Street, features every year a fine show of crocuses followed by daffodils. The green used to be the old village green of East Wickham and was known by this name, which was due to its peculiar shape, as early as the middle of the 18th century. The church behind is St. Mary the Virgin on Wickham Street.
