A wonderfully contorted ancient Oak tree was well illuminated.

Blenheim Palace Illuminations 2020 :: SP4416

Due to the current Covid crisis very few public events have been allowed to take place. However, as the illuminations at Blenheim Palace are entirely in the open air, and careful distancing was being adhered to, this was one of the few exceptions. Well worth a visit, though by no means inexpensive (over £20/head) it made a very pleasant diversion in these appallingly glum times. A full circuit without dawdling (as it was bloomin' cold) took about 1h 15m and there was plenty to see.
