The A702 is a major road that runs for 83 miles, on a generally NE/SW alignment, between Edinburgh and St John's Town of Dalry in Dumfries and Galloway. The section between junction 13 of the M74/A74(M) at Abington and Edinburgh is designated as a primary route (formerly part of the Euroroute system, route E32); the section west of the M74 is non-primary.
