These formed a rake known as the 'Flying Flea' LinkExternal link which could be put into service as a relief times when loads were. From left to right can be seen Van 2, an original quarrymen's coach later equipped as a brake van, standard second class coaches 4 and 5, and observation car 6. The latter was originally a first class saloon and has since been rebuilt to that condition. Nos. 4 and 5 are thought to be the earliest passenger carriages to be built for a narrow gauge railway worldwide.
