This twin-arched railway bridge was built by the Manchester South Junction & Altrincham Railway Company in 1849 and links with the viaduct which takes trains to Deansgate and Piccadilly stations. It is a Grade II listed building (Historic England List Entry Number: 1254726 LinkExternal link Historic England).
