Shortlands Station and railway bridge
Shortlands Station and railway bridge
The bridge carries the railway line from London to Bromley South and onwards into Kent across Bromley Road here at Shortlands. The bridge has prominent signs warning drivers of vehicles more than 12 feet high not to pass underneath.

The brick building to the right of the image is Shortlands railway station.
Shortlands Station

Shortlands station is 10 miles from London Victoria.
It was originally opened by the West End of London and Crystal Palace Railway on 3 May 1858, when it was named Bromley. Shortlands Junction, just west of the station, is where the Catford Loop Line joins the Chatham Main Line.
The station is in Travelcard Zone 4, and the station and all trains are operated by Southeastern.
