taken 8 years ago, near to Welland, Worcestershire, England
The Welland Steam Rally first took place in 1964 and has been an annual event at Woodside Farm at Welland ever since. In 2016, this three day event attracted record crowds of 38,000. The rally has become much more than an attraction for steam enthusiasts, as well as steam traction engines there are vintages cars, lorries, motorbikes and farm machinery. Of particular interest is the working field where ploughing, both with traction engines and tractors was demonstrated, there were also road building earthmovers and a steam shovel being demonstrated. Other attractions included stalls, a farmers market and a craft tent.
