A 17ft high statue of Eros SD3245 : Eros at Fleetwood bought at Sotheby's in 1997 was installed on the roundabout where the A585 and B5268 meet. It was gifted to the town by Doreen Lofthouse, a director of Fishermen's Friend. The aluminium statue suffered damage in the weather and was removed in 2005 to be replaced a year later by a bronze replica.
