The grounds of Swarkestone Old Hall
Seen from the churchyard. The section of high wall in the distance is the surviving remains of the Hall which was abandoned following the move of the Harpur family to Calke Abbey after the Civil War. The surviving walls of Hall and gardens are Listed Grade II*, and the grounds are also a Listed Grade II* Park and Garden.
