At the centre of the picture is a NS2986 : Knoll beside the Green Burn. In the foreground is a stone that has some striations on its surface: grooves appear to have been worn into it. They point away from the lower-right corner of the picture (and are therefore almost at right-angles to the more prominent lines of fractures).
