In recent years this has been a branch of the Prezzo restaurant chain, which offer Italian cuisine. Previously it was a public house known as The Oxford Arms, which closed in 2007. Previous names included The Hogshead, The Market Square and Jimmy Figgs. For many years it was a Thomas Wethered & Sons house. Their Marlow Brewery was established in 1758 but they were taken over in 1949 and eventually became part of Whitbread. Brewing ceased in 1988 and later the brewery was demolished for housing.

Prezzo ("price" in Italian) is a chain of Italian restaurants in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The first restaurant opened on New Oxford Street, London in November 2000. There are now more than 200 branches across the country. It is part of the Prezzo restaurant group, which also operates the Chimichanga, Cafe Uno, and Ultimate Burger chains.
