Looking across what was once Number 9 Dock at the Port of Manchester, towards MediaCityUK, a 200-acre mixed-use property development site at Salford Quays on the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal in Salford and Trafford. The principal tenants are media organizations, most notably the BBC. The land occupied by the development was part of the Port of Manchester and Manchester Docks.
