Lone horse on Higham Saltings
This is fairly soon after the start of the Saxon Shore Way after it has left Gravesend and just past Shornmead Fort - see Link. There are impressive views across the Thames as it widens out into the estuary.

Across the river is Tilbury Power Station. Tilbury Power Station is actually two fossil fuel power stations. Tilbury A Power Station operated from 1956 until 1981 when it was mothballed. Tilbury B Power Station operated from 1967 until October 2013. Nine days after this photograph was taken the two chimneys were demolished on 28th September 2017 - see LinkExternal link
