Farmhouse at Grange Farm, Muggleswick

The monks of Durham had a cattle farm or grange here in the middle ages. This farm was originally the dairy farm for the Grange. It has a date of 1694 on the door lintel of the present farmhouse, which shows a linear style of structure.
