Launching Scarborough lifeboat 2
Following a ceremony at Scarborough Lifeboat Station, the lifeboat was launched for the last time from this lifeboat house. The lifeboat house is soon to be demolished to make way for a bigger one to accommodate the new Shannon class lifeboat. The lifeboat tractor is as far into the sea as it needs to go and the lifeboat is about to be released from its carriage.West Pier in the near background and beyond that the lighthouse which is on Vincent's Pier.
